Making Jewellery Projects

Hi everyone,

I have had such a busy few weeks making jewellery. A new publication called Making Jewellery has asked me to create a few projects to include in their magazine. So far I have submitted a silver and swarovski crystal cuff for the November issue and are currently working on a PMC holly leaf (for the Christmas edition obviously!) and will then be appearing in the Februrary issue with a colourful Mardi Gras Lariat so look out for it! Its available to buy in most bookshops and also you can subscribe for it by clicking the magazine!

New Clarise Keepsakes website

It is a very exciting time and I have been working on a new site that will  help to promote my students who have started their own businesses as well as My Wedding Day Silver. I have been busy keeping my Clarise sites well up the google rankings and this new site will help new keepsake busineses compete with some of the bigger companies. It is structured in a way of a cooperative so everyone involved will benifit. I will post more once the site is launched will will be very soon. If you are interested in being included on this site let me know.

Copper and Bronze clay

Copper and Bronze Clay is cheaper then Silver Clay and ideal for keyrings and pet tags as well as larger scale jewellery items and even dishes and bowls. I will be experimenting with this new invention  so watch out for my efforts which I will post shortly.

Inkless wipes and pads for baby hand and foot prints

I am at the moment sourcing some inkless wipes and pads for your baby/childs hand and footprints and fingerprints these will be available on the online shop shortly.  The reason I'm doing this is to be able to provide all you students who have started their own keepsake business the opportunity to purchase these at a reasonable price. Keep checking the shop.

Last week Lesley and Katie from Babybrite 4D scanning clinic came down from Middlesborough to attend this new course. They will be setting up a new silver keepsake service from their new shop premisses very shortly.

Baby Fingerprinting

This week has been really busy with classes particularly Baby Fingerprinting. It's nice to know that people realise they can start up their own business without out having to go to the great expense of buying a franchise.

Here is Vanessa and Helen looking pleased with their efforts.

Metal Clay Master's Register

After meeting Robert Dancik and Tim McCreight at the PMC symposium last August I was inspired to start work on some pieces for the Master's Register. The Master's Register is a worldwide mark of excellence. At the moment there are only 11 artists achieved this standard. It has taken me until now to get started.
